Everything you need to know about creating, supporting and partnering with projects.
About the platform
What is Israel Inspires Me?
Israel Inspires Me is a platform that helps inspiring social, creative and social-enterprise projects in Israel attract funding and supporters. We believe that people acting together can improve the world around them.
Why should I register?
Registration lets you use the platform’s full functionality: create and manage projects, receive updates about new projects and, where available, arrange recurring support.
What kinds of projects does the platform support?
- Social projects helping people, animals or the environment.
- Businesses operating as social enterprises.
- Creative projects including film, music, visual arts, theatre, literature, cultural events and creative development.
How does the platform help project creators?
The IIM team and external experts help assess and improve projects, connect creators with partners and participants, and support project promotion.
For project creators
How do I create a project?
Create an account and complete the project form. Our team will review it and contact you if any details need clarification.
How should I describe my project?
Use clear language. Explain what you will do, the problem being solved, the timeline, an accurate budget and who benefits. Include what you have already done and add strong photographs or a short video.
What happens after I submit the form?
- An expert reviews the project and either approves it or recommends changes.
- After any necessary revisions, the project is published.
- Where needed, our team supports promotion and implementation.
The fundraising campaign has closed. What happens next?
The organization processes the project’s share and transfers it according to the timetable and conditions agreed with the creator.
What if the project does not reach its goal?
The creator may extend the campaign, adjust implementation to the amount raised, or close the campaign. Any decision must be agreed with the platform and communicated transparently to supporters.
How much does it cost to publish a project?
Submitting and publishing a project is free. The organization retains 20% of donations received; payment-processing costs are paid by the organization from this share. The remaining 80% is allocated to the project.
Can I change a published project?
Minor updates can be agreed with the platform. Material changes to the name, purpose, activities or financial goal may require a new review because supporters donated based on the original information.
Supporting a project
How can I support a project?
You can make a one-time donation, arrange recurring support where available, volunteer your professional skills, or share the project through social media and your community.
Where does my money go?
Your donation supports the project you selected. 80% is allocated to that project; the organization’s 20% share covers review, administration, payment processing and platform operations.
Where can I see the results?
You can follow fundraising progress on the project page. After implementation, project updates, reports and photographs can be published there.
Can I help promote a project?
Yes. Sharing a project with friends, professional networks and social-media communities can make a significant difference.
Who should I contact about a payment problem?
Please contact our support team at info@iim.org.il and include the date, amount and project name. Do not email complete payment-card details.
Corporate partnerships
How can a company become a platform partner?
A company can support one or more projects financially, involve employees as volunteers or participants, and help a project reach its fundraising goal. Partner names and logos may be featured on the relevant project and partner materials.
How can we become a media partner?
We welcome collaboration with media outlets, social-media groups and channels. Media partners can help share project stories and may be acknowledged in platform communications.
What is a special project?
A special project is a partnership program created jointly with a company or brand to advance a social initiative or socially valuable product. We develop an individual format and communications plan together.
